Making Art On WFMZ-TV

Metal artist Angela Serricca demonstrated her beautifully handcrafted wearable art jewelry making process on WFMZ-TV 69 News at Sunrise with Alex Hogan.

Serricca Studios Presents the Process

Angela Serricca, founder of Serricca Studios, was among few presenters during the morning of May 28, 2019, who demonstrated and explained their product that would be available to purchase at this year’s Saucon Creek Arts Festival, held at the Heller Homestead in Bethlehem, PA.

During her brief interview segment with Alex Hogan, Angela Serricca demonstrated part of her process by drilling holes into copper with a mini tabletop drill press. She then proceeded to explain her process with displayed visual samples, from start to finish. Products that she offers includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings. While offering individual jewelry pieces for sale, she also offers special collections of coordinating sets.

About the Saucon Creek Arts Festival

The festival’s website mentions Stroudsburg attracts a wide variety of visitors, including affluent tourists, vacation homeowners, and local residents. The out-of-town guests include residents from Allentown, Philadelphia, Scranton, New York City and New Jersey. In fact, the festival contributes to the doubling of Monroe County’s population on that weekend.

The Pocono State Craft Festival takes place at a working farm called The Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm.  Since the first festival in 1986, this rural setting has enjoyed a reputation for being “a destination for the discerning collector of quality art and fine crafts”. In addition to viewing the beautiful art on display, guests will enjoy music by the best regional musicians.
